Bane and His Stuntman
Cannot tell you how much I love this.
That is totally Buster ‘The Huddersfield Hurricane’ Reeves. Isn’t it?
Great spot. What a hero that guy is.
In other news, that was quite possibly my first Tumblr post this year.
I would really like to write something. Reviews, features, fiction - whatever. I just can’t seem to find prolonged inspiration.
I’ll start off my blog with a few of my past illustrations. My designs mainly revolve around nature, animals, patterns and black and white. Any feedback would be more than welcome! :)
Awesomeness by Kate (who is back on Tumblr despite herself).
For anyone that follows me I’d be grateful if you will tell me if you think music radio is dead, lacking or if you do listen what stations/shows do you listen to.
Reposting muchly appreciated as well.
Dave wants to know, so tell him. I’m also reblogging this to remind me to write my opinion later - I’m heading out the door in a minute, and I’d rather give him a decent response, ‘cause Dave’s the man.
I’ve actually nearly finished my short story for the Costa competition. I’ve pretty much written the whole thing yesterday and today, and I’m really pleased with myself that I will have actually completed a piece of fiction, as I normally sack them off after a chapter or two.
Now I need to decide some unimportant things like the name. Any suggestions? It’s about a man who wants to be a Philip Marlowe-esque private detective, even though he lives in Yorkshire in 2012.
- The Wannabe Shamus
- The Yorkshire Peeper (Like the ripper, y’know?)
- or maybe I could use a semi-poignant line from the book?
I well should have based it in Shoreditch, then I could have called it ‘The Shoreditch Shamus’. That’s an opportunity missed.
